Facts on Holiday Home Ownership

No. 1
Percy Wood does not have an age restriction on any of its Holiday Homes, as long as your unit is kept in good condition and you are following the park rules you can keep it here as long as you like.

No. 2
As an owner at Percy Wood you will have to sign a site licence agreement which is produced in accordance with the BH&HPA and the NCC code of practice regulations.

No. 3
You may not use your holiday home here at Percy Wood as your main Residence

No. 4
Council tax is not payable on your holiday home, and the quoted site fee includes an element of business and water rates.

No. 5
You do not have to sell your holiday home back to Percy Wood, you may sell it privately on its pitch, where it will attract the best price. Percy Wood will take 15% plus VAT and will conduct the sale on your behalf. Private sale agreements are available on request.

No. 6
Your holiday home is a sound lifestyle and leisure time investment for all the family to enjoy over many years, however do remember that caravans do depreciate in value and it is unlikely that you would recoup your original investment should you decide to sell.

No. 7
Subletting on Percy Wood is not permitted on a commercial basis however your family and friends are more than welcome to use the holiday home.

No. 8
The insurance of your holiday home is mandatory, however you are not obliged to purchase this through Percy Wood Leisure. A stipulation on any insurance is £2 million public liability.
